Clyde Troy Adkins

Clyde Troy Adkins, 94, passed away on June 13, 2021 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Troy was born in Caldwell County on April 27, 1927 to the late Clarence and Selma Adkins. He was married to the late Ruth Adkins for more than 67 years. He spent the last 11 years living in Ferguson. Troy spent over forty years in the furniture industry. Troy was a loving father and husband. Troy was a faithful member of West Lenoir Baptist Church. In addition to his parents and wife, Troy is preceded in death by his son, Alan E. Adkins and grandson, Scott Adkins. Troy is survived by his sons: Ronnie Adkins and wife Debra of Charlotte and Eric Adkins and wife Debbie of Ferguson. Troy is survived by his grandchildren: Danielle Cochrane of Charlotte; David Adkins of Morganton; Kim Keil of Conover; Nichole Parga of Wilkesboro; and Angela Perez of Ferguson. Troy is, also, survived by his three great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Blue Ridge Memorial Park of Lenoir, NC.
