Claude Conrad Storie

Mr. Claude Conrad Storie, son of the late Conrad William Storie and Ida Greer Storie born January 14th, 1946 in Lenoir, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 20th, 2023 at Frye Hospital in Hickory, NC.

Claude was a loving husband to Faye Howell Storie for 56 years. He is survived by his daughters, Stacy Storie Davis and husband, Ian; Melissa Storie Miller and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Victoria Martin and husband, Aaron; Caroline Davis, Ethan Rogers, Erin Rogers, Emma Miller; great-granddaughter, Kate Lenoir Martin; brother, Hersel Story and wife, Linda; and sister, JoAnn Storie Nichols and husband, Lloyd and numerous family members.

Claude loved his God, family, and country. He was a member of Setzer Creek Baptist Church where he faithfully attended for 75 years and served many years as deacon and Sunday school teacher. Claude also served two years in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

A celebration of Claude’s life will be held at Setzer Creek Baptist Church on Saturday June 24th at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Gideons International Association or a charity of your choice.
