Claude Dwayne Crisp

Dwayne Crisp, 64, of Lenoir, NC passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Dwayne was born on September 18, 1959, to the late Jay and Wilma Crisp.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Debra Crisp Reid and Darlene Crisp Clark.

Those left to cherish Dwayne’s memory are his wife of 38 years, Toye Crisp; sons, Ethan Crisp (Becca), Aaron Crisp; grandson, William Crisp; brothers, Dennis Crisp (Esta), Derwin Crisp (Johna), Dwight Crisp, Durand Crisp, and numerous other family and friends.

Dwayne enjoyed motorcycles, working on cars, loved the outdoors, and cooking on the grill.  He was a man of many talents, he could do anything, if he couldn’t he would figure it out.  The best birthday present he received was his best friend and grandson Liam, “two peas in a pod”.  Dwayne was always there for his family and friends no matter the time of day.  Dwayne loved his family and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A service to celebrate Dwayne will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir with Pastor Wallace Smith officiating.  The family will have a visitation one hour prior from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Evans Funeral Service on Monday, February 19, 2024.  Burial will follow at Confidence Advent Christian Church in Lenoir, NC.
