Clarence Dean Skeels

Clarence Dean Skeels , age 84, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on December 29, 2022 at his residence in Lenoir. Dean was born on October 15, 1938 in Palmyra, New York to the late Clarence Skeels and Ruth Vin Gee Skeels. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Skeels; son, Steven Skeels; two brothers and one sister. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sue Skeels; daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Hargett; sons, Ronald “Ron” Skeels (wife, Jane), Darrell Skeels (Tane) and Sean Hanyon; grandchildren, Danielle Mower, Ashley Presnell, Brittany Scott, Mark Hargett, Andrea Skeels, Jana Skeels, Adam Skeels, Courtney Herrington, Timothy Skeels, Tyler Skeels, Alyssa Skeels, Landon Skeels; and numerous great grandchildren. Dean served in the National Guard Army of the United States. He enjoyed his career in printing for many years. He was a hard worker, loved by many for his sharp wit and sense of humor, and his willingness to help others. The family will receive friends and family to honor Dean Skeels on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Evans Funeral Service in the chapel.
