CJ's hobbies were more than a pastime. He loved nature and the outdoors: hiking, fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle. The simple pleasures in life brought him immense joy. Whether he was fishing on the family pond, enjoying fishing trips from the mountains to the coast, camping on the river or riding his motorcycle on Hwy 181, his quest to see all of nature’s beauty inspired friends and family alike. He found solace and tranquility outdoors, particularly at the family’s pond in Gamewell and riding his motorcycle. He had a huge passion for motorcycles. When he mastered riding, he began selling bikes. He wasn’t just a salesman; he was an amazing rider who could navigate any road with ease. His passion for bikes brought joy to everyone around him, and his expertise helped many people find their perfect ride. He was always there to give new riders instruction and never left anyone behind. He set up events and memorial rides for other bikers who had passed, He rode every ride with such spirit and enthusiasm, he inspired others to love the ride just as much as he did. CJ’s passing leaves a big hole in the lives of his family, friends and fellow riders.
It was his genuine concern for others that should always define him. He was always willing to lend a hand, offer a listening ear, sharing his sense of humor, making him a pillar of strength, a source of laughter, and a place of comfort in times of need. He never met a stranger. He will always be remembered for his adventurous spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.
