Cindy Price

Hudson- Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Haas Price, age 57, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. She was born in Caldwell County on July 31, 1959 to Ruth Greene Haas and the late Marshall Haas. Cindy was married to Tommy Price of the home for 38 years. Cindy was a dedicated, loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family. She was a long-time active member of Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. After graduation from high school, Cindy became a licensed insurance agent and worked for Clay Anders Insurance Agency. She took great pride in helping her clients and her community. Cindy and her husband, Tommy, were supporters of the Hudson Recreation Department and were actively involved in organizing numerous activities. On November 5 the Town of Hudson will sponsor a 5K run in honor of Cindy. In addition to her husband and mother, Cindy is survived by her daughter, Tara Scott and husband, Matthew; son, Eric Price, and girlfriend, Breanna Lucas; granddaughter, Allie Scott and soon-to-be grandson, Jackson Scott; and numerous aunts and uncles. A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 3:30 PM with Pastor Nicky Waters, Pastor Mark Dula and Pastor Mark Moody officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 prior to the service.
