Christopher John Murphy

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Christopher ?Chris? John Murphy, age 47, of Lenoir, died Monday, July 27, 2009 at his home. Born November 14, 1961 in Sacramento, CA, Chris was a son of Eugene and Shirley Suddreth Murphy of Lenoir and the husband of Debbie Benge Murphy of the home. Chris was a loving husband and loved by so many friends. He was an animal lover and enjoyed the outdoors. He worked for Valdese Packaging and Labels. Surviving other than his wife and parents are two brothers, Bill Murphy and Michael Murphy, both of Lenoir; one sister, Susan Greene and husband B.L. of Lenoir and numerous other relatives and friends. A celebration of Chris? life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Calvary Advent Christian Church with Reverend Jim Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 AM, one hour prior to the service at the church.
