Christopher Dale Church

Christopher Dale Church, age 33, of Hudson, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Frye Regional Medical Center.He was born November 18, 1984 in Catawba County to the late Gary Dale Church and Teresa Reece Brown of Lenoir. Chris was a 2003 graduate of West Caldwell High School where he was the first All-County and All-Conference soccer player for West Caldwell.Chris was a loving son, father, brother, and friend to all that knew him.He was engaged to be married to the love of his life, Mindy Reece.He was a true jack of all trades and always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed him. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Jim Brown; two sons, Taylor Ray Hood and Alex Church; fiancé, Mindy Reece; two sisters, Marsha Gray and Scarlet Glover; one brother, Dustin Church; grandfather, Richard Reece, and numerous extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 6:30 pm at Word In Truth Ministries, 113 Virginia Street, Lenoir, NC, conducted by Rev. Danny Wright.The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 pm prior to the service at the church.
