Christine Patterson

Christine Patterson, age 64, of Hickory, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her residence. She was born on February 7, 1953 to the late Samuel Joseph Witherspoon and Hattie Patterson. She was worked for several years at the former PellCare Nursing Home. Christine was a homemaker and dearly loved her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Patterson; and her sisters, Carolyn Scurry, Marie Copeland and Terry Propst. She is survived by her children, Craig J. Patterson, Tammy Patterson, Christopher J. Patterson and Raymond Morris Patterson, all of Hickory; sister, Josephine Patterson of Hickory and Beatrice Colbert of Lenoir; brother, Garry W. Patterson on Belton, TX; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Christine’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
