Christine Eller

Lenoir – Mrs. Christine Stallings Eller, age 87, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on June 26, 1928 to the late Robert H. Stallings and Fannie Prestwood Stallings. Mrs. Eller was a life-long member of Whitnel United Methodist Church and retired after more than 40 years of service with Singer Furniture Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C.Eller; sister, Margaret Stallings Harris; and brother, James Stallings. Mrs. Eller is survived by her two sons, Rob Eller and wife, Debbie; Scott Eller and wife, Tamara, all of Hudson; grandchildren, Abby and Drew Eller; sister, Trilla Stallings Annas; and her beloved dog, Cody. A celebration of Mrs. Eller’s life will be held at Whitnel United Methodist Church on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Lori Ann Bowen and Reverend Jim Evans officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
