Christian Ivan Dominguez

Statesville – Christian Ivan Dominguez, age 31 of Statesville, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Roswell, GA. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on January 5, 1987 to Maria De Lourdes Arroyo Benitez. He attended Statesville Public Schools and graduated from North Iredell High School in 2005. He joined the United States Air Force in 2005 and served until 2011. Christian was a loving father, son, cousin and nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Feliciano Arroyo. In addition to his mother and stepfather, Antonio Arias, Christian is survived by his wife, LaPorsche Cuthbertson; children, Julius and Justice Dominguez; grandmother, Trinidad Benitez and husband, Carlos Esparza; aunts, Teresa Arroyo; Maria Arroyo; Flora Esparza and husband, Hector Yanez; Patricia Carranza; Carla Esparza; Irene Esparza; and Maria Benitez; uncles, Gelacio Arroyo; Bepto Vargas; and Santos Arias; cousins, Debora Arroyo -Huff and husband, Sergio Huff; Vanessa Vargas Arroyo and fiancée, Kainon Pride; Diana Gamez and husband, Irvin; Ashley Arroyo; Kassandra Arroyo; Cynthia Arias; and Brenda Arias; Gelacio Arroyo, Jr.; Javi Vargas; Michael Arroyo; Gio Arroyo; Luis Vargas; Mark Anthony Arroyo; Josh Arroyo; and Jacinto Figueroa; Carlos, Angel, Nico, and Bernice Yanez; Charmaine and Michael Lizarraga; nieces and nephews, Tracey, Ava and Sergio Huff, Bella and Anthony Jr; step-brothers, Jordan and Edwin Arias; and child-hood best friends, Martin Murphy; Eric Odom; Perry Cowan; and Chazman Houston. Christian’s homegoing will be held at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
