Chelsie Paul Grose

Mr. Chelsie Paul Grose, age 77, of Ferguson, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Born December 8, 1941 in Caldwell county, Chelsie was a son of Mildred Rebecca Hamby Grose and the late Chelsie Eller Grose.Chelsie was an army veteran and was part of the 82nd Airborne Division.Chelsie loved the outdoors, especially walking amongst the wilderness.He was an avid Nascar fan, he even considered working for them at one time.He had an associates degree in mechanical and electronic engineering and loved working on cars.He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, being friendly and never met a stranger.In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Elaine Robbins Grose; two sons, Curtis Paul Grose and Jessie Paul Grose; two brothers, Grover Grose and Randall Grose; a sister, Mary Ellen Grose Trivette. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by a daughter, Paula Grose Brown (husband Christopher); three brothers, Terry Grose, Michael Grose and Benny Grose; three sisters, Janette Grose, Madge Grose Dunn and Donna Grose Triplett; three grandchildren, Joseph Tyler Griffin, Kimberly Dawn Griffin and Ashley Marie Griffin; a great grandson who will join us in April; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
