Charlotte Elizabeth Mclean Hartley

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Charlotte Elizabeth McLean Hartley, age 77, of Lenoir, died Monday, June 11, 2007 in Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born December 27, 1929 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Hartley was a daughter of the late William Bryant and Ola Mae Greene McLean. Mrs. Hartley was a member of Joyceton Baptist Church and was a caregiver for many family and friends. She is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda Hartley-Ronkin and husband David Michael Ronkin of Lenoir; Verna H. Perry and husband Edward of Woodstock, GA; three sisters, Nettie Howell, Lillie Mae Crane and Myrtle Tester, all of Lenoir, 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Benge and two brothers, Oscar and William McLean. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Joyceton Baptist Church with Reverend John Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
