Charlotte Benfield Hoyle

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Charlotte Benfield Hoyle, age 70, of Lenoir, died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Grandview Villa of Lenoir. Born October 9, 1939 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Nelson Harrison, Sr. and Leota Ruth Icenhour Benfield and the wife of Donald Ernest Hoyle of the home to whom she was married 49 years. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Geneva Lee Hoyle and one brother, Nelson Harrison ?Sonny? Benfield, Jr. Mrs. Hoyle was a loving and devoted housewife and mother who enjoyed gardening, animals and all of nature. She had worked for the Lenoir News Topic in Circulation for many years. She attended both New Life Baptist Church and One Church in Lenoir. Other than her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Kim Hoyle Case and husband Reverend Phil Case, of Lenoir and two Grandchildren, Kyle Justin Case and wife Sarajane of Wilmington and Tyler Brandon Case of Lenoir. A celebration of Mrs. Hoyle?s life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 17, 2010 at New Life Baptist Church with Reverend Phil Case, Reverend Randy Gibson and Reverend Gary Church officiating. Burial will follow in Clarks Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM Sunday, one hour prior to the service at New Life Baptist Church.
