Charles Webster On October 31, 2018, the Almighty God chose to call His servant Charles Webster Jr. home to receive his reward.Now his soul is at rest in the loving arms of God.Charles was born on April 29, 1941 to Charles B. and Ettie Webster of Big Sandy, West Virginia.He is also preceded in death by his father and mother, three brothers, Carl, Freddie and William Webster and two sisters, Inez Patterson and Louise Webster. Charles was an active and loyal member of The Life Center Church of Lenoir, NC where he served for numerous years on the deacon board and Band of Brothers (BOB).Charles was also an active member of the senior choir using his passion for singing to glorify God.He was the owner of Webster's Trucking for fifteen years and an assistant supervisor at Kincaid Furniture before retirement. Charles is survived by his wife of 53 years Juliette Webster, three daughters Phyllis Connor (Mike Connor) of Ferguson, NC, Debra Stucky of Greensboro, NC and Carol Sturgis (Tyrone Sturgis) of Lenoir, NC, two sons, Ray Hunt (Melanie Hunt) of Lenior, NC and Rev. Dr. Terry W. Hunt (Kathy Hunt) of North Wilkesboro, NC, fifteen grand children, and twenty-one great grandchildren and a host of neices and nephews and a circle of other relatives and friends. His sister, Doris Puryear (Willie Puryear) of Long Island, NY and brother, Edward Webster of Ferguson, NC. A celebration of Charles’ life will be held at The Life Center, 1925 Valway Road, Lenoir, NC28645, on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Terry Hunt officiating. Interment will be at the Lipford Family Cemetery in Ferguson. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.
