Charles Ted Keller

Charles Ted Keller passed peacefully on September 1, 2022 at Carolina Caring Hospice House in Newton North Carolina with his loving wife by his side.

Charles was born on August 27, 1946 to the late Rhonda Keller and Rosa Lee Tester Keller.

Charles loved the Lord, his devoted wife of 42 years, and family. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, and being on the lake. He was an avid Panthers football fan as long as they were winning. He had a great work ethic and was a hard worker.

Those left to cherish his family are his wife, Sharon Keller of Hudson NC; son, Reverend Charles Baker Keller and wife Pam of Dallas NC; daughter, Fredia Scruggs and husband Wayne of Hickory NC; sisters, Mary (Libby) Cantrell and husband Gary of Hudson NC and Barbara (Bobbie) Tester and husband Jerry of Boone NC; grandchildren, Carter Keller, Callie Keller, Tiffany Scruggs, Mindy Rhoney, and Logan Scruggs; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn (Josie) Marr, Colton Rhoney, and Liam Rhoney; mother-in-law, Loretta Wilson of the home; and nieces and nephews.

A 3:30PM Funeral Service to honor Charles Ted Keller will be held at Day 3 Church in Granite Falls on Sunday, September 4, 2022 with Reverend Lynn Parsons officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30PM to 3:30PM. A private graveside will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
