Charles Thomas Shear

Charles Thomas Shear Jr, of Lenoir NC, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Charles, more affectionately known by those close to him as Chuckie, was born September 11, 1982 in Okinawa, Japan. Charles was an avid outdoorsman and spent much of his time camping and fishing. He was also a skilled carpenter and contractor. Charles was known throughout his life as a friend to all. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was a creative mischief maker and had a knack for creating joy in those that were fortunate enough to be in his company. Charles is survived by his wife; Shawnasie Dawn Shear and their four children: Kris Nikole Chappetta, Jordan Thomas, Landon Carter, and Skyla Jade; parents: Charles (Machell) Shear and Deborah Shear; siblings: Jillianne Shear, Elizabeth (Scott) Shear, David (Yuki) Shear, and Zachary Shear.
