Charles Ronnie Mullis

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Charles ?Chuck? Ronnie Mullis, age 61, of Lenoir, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Born February 15, 1949 in Ashe County, Mr. Mullis was a son of Cecil Clyde Mullis of Lenoir and the late Francis Pauline Hurley Mullis and the husband of Mrs. Judith ?Judy? Hollar Mullis of the home. Mr. Mullis was a correctional officer in Taylorsville and a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church where he was a deacon, former Sunday school teacher and Royal Ambassador?s teacher. He loved fishing and carpentry. Other than his wife and father, he is survived by 2 children, Adam Shay Mullis and Todd Daniel Mullis, both of Lenoir; 1 sister, Anita Mullis Pritchard of Lenoir and several other relatives. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Roger Beck officiating. The family will receive friends at the Mullis residence.
