Charles Jerry Church

Hudson – Charles Jerry Church, age 65, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fayetteville, NC on March 18, 1949 to the late Charles A. Church and Katherine Fox Church. He was married to Marivic Ratcliffe Church of the residence. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sons, Charles Terry Church and Jerry Dean Church; step-mother, Betty Fox Church; and brothers, Ronny Church and Chuck Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Maria Louise Church, Katherine Ann Church and Samantha Ann Church; brothers, Larry Church and wife, Rhonda of Missouri; Danny Church of Boomer; Kenny Church and wife, Leslie of Lenoir; step-brothers, Donnie Fox, David Fox and wife, Sandy; Jessie Fox and wife, Dotty; step-sisters, Shirley Marsh and husband, Roger; Debbie Fox; grandchildren, Jonathan Michael Church; Latasha Nicole Church Mills; Brittany Elizabeth Arney; great-grandchildren, Lindsay Maria Church; Joshua Riley Church; and numerous other family members. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 12:30 PM with Reverend Julio Dominguez officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Temple Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the N.C. National Guard and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Michael White, Jonathan Michael Church, Latasha Church-Mills, Brittany Arney, Danny Ray Church and Kenny Church. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 prior to the service.
