Charles Lee Bolick

Hudson, NC ? Mr. Charlie ?Chuck? Lee Bolick, age 69, of Hudson, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010, at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. Mr. Bolick was born April 6, 1941, in Watauga County to the late Charlie and Pearl Woodring Bolick. Mr. Bolick was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and he enjoyed gardening, hiking and swimming. He was a veteran having served in both the U.S. Army and Navy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a niece, Kimberly Necole Cooke. Mr. Bolick is survived by three sisters; Dorsie Ford of Black Mountain, NC, Jo Mitchell and husband, Robert of Lenoir, Louise Blevins and husband, Jay of Granite Falls; six nephews and numerous other relatives. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 3, from 6:00 until 8:30 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service.
