Lenoir, NC- Cedric Jovan Harshaw, Sr., age 27, of Lenoir, died Friday January 19, 2007. Born July 17, 1979 in Burke County, Mr. Harshaw was a son of the late Wavery Orlanda Harshaw, Sr. and Juliette Barnes Harshaw of Memphis, TN. Surviving other than his mother is his dear special friend, Dawn Tesha Davenport of Lenoir; two sons, Zonquarious Harshaw of Charlotte; Cedric Jovan Harshaw, Jr. of Lenoir; two daughters, Keyshilia Davenport and Jalena Harshaw, both of Lenoir; three sisters, Alisa Barnett and husband Trenton; Patricia Rogers and husband Thomas and Kennyonna Barnett and husband Dentmon, all of Memphis, TN; one brother, Wavery Orlanda Harshaw, Jr. of Lenoir and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2007 at Mt. Zion True Holiness Church. Burial will be at a later time in Memphis, TN. The family is gathering at the home of Harvel Barnes, 517 Vance Street in Lenoir.
