Cecil Daniel Vines

Cecil Daniel Vines, 83, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

Cecil was born on February 7, 1941, to the late Charles and Mae Vines.

Those left to cherish Cecil’s memory are his wife of 63 years, Willa Dean Vines; children, Teresa Young (Chris), Michael Vines (Karen), Christi Clark (Duane); grandchildren, Kasie Ouzts (Jordan), Nathan Young (Whitney), Adam Vines (Destany), Lauren Vines, Avery Clark (Chloe), Natalie Clark; great grandchildren, Rider, Birdie, Levi, Isaac, Luke, Daniel, Titus, and waiting to make her arrival, Cedar, and Ivy; brothers, Ray Vines, Wayne Vines; and sister, Lola Presnell.

Cecil and Dean had a wonderful marriage of 63 years.  He was a wonderful husband, father, and PawPaw.  He loved his family especially his grandchildren.  Cecil worked in furniture up until retirement.  He loved fishing, hunting, and gardening.

A graveside service to honor Cecil’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Mulberry Baptist Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Vines and Pastor James Todd officiating.

Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard and Army National Guard will perform military honors.
