Cecil James Braswell

Cecil Braswell Hudson, NC- Mr. Cecil James Braswell, age 80, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Caldwell County on March 18, 1933 to the late Guy Braswell and Essie Correll Braswell. He was married to Annie Church Braswell of the residence for 27 years. Mr. Braswell was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sybil Braswell and his brother, James Braswell. Other than his wife, Annie, he is survived by his daughters, Gail Braswell Ridenhour and husband, Mike; Julie Braswell Brown; and Billie Ward and husband, Rodney; grandchildren, Brian Wilson and wife, Ellen; Lindsey Wilson; Eric Brown and wife, Mandi; Aaron Brown; Ashley Ridenhour; and Lee Ward; great-grandchildren, Tavia, Riley, and Salem Wilson; and Elicia and Brodee Brown; brother, Donald Braswell; sister, Teresa Braswell Dugger and husband, Bill Dugger. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 3:30 PM with Chaplain Nancy Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 prior to the service. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Caldwell Hospice for their love and care during Mr. Braswell̢۪s stay.
