Lenoir – Cassandra Louise Quick, age 25, passed away on November 16, 2016 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Watauga County on November 22, 1990 to Lawrence Dean Quick and Sandra Hicks Quick. She was a member of Cornerstone Covenant Church and was part of the Chosen Youth Group. She loved to participate in Bible School and sing her favorite song “Shout to the Lord”. Cassandra was preceded in death by her grandfather, John M. Hicks; aunt, Donna Hicks and her uncle Randy Hicks. In addition to her parents she is survived by her grandparents, Bob and Reba Hicks Curtis; Barbara Jean Clough; and Doug and Judy Quick; sisters, Ashley D. Quick; Holly Quick Faulkner and husband, Samuel; brother, Jonathan D. Quick and wife, Samantha; nieces, Raylynn, Autumn and Wynter Quick; nephews, Randy Waters Quick, Rydder Quick, Kaleb Quick and Eli Faulkner. A celebration of Cassandra’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Freddie Stapleton and Pastor Danny Honeycutt officiating.
