Carson William Handy

Lenoir – Carson William Handy, age 4, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 as result of an auto accident.Born April 26, 2010 in Caldwell County, he was the son of the late Sabrina Faith Handy and Jesse Lee Blann of Morganton. Carson attended Head Start and loved playing with robots as well as mowing the lawn with his toy lawn mower. Other than his mother, he is preceded in death by his “Maw Maw”, Carolyn Handy, his maternal great-grandfather, Guy Handy and uncle, Dillon Mitchell. Other than his father, he is survived by his brother, Anton Blann, maternal grandmother, Rhonda Mitchell of Morganton, maternal grandfather, Bert Tracy Keller of Lenoir, his paternal grandparents, Lee and Janet Blann of Morganton and his uncle, Anthony Frasca of Morganton.He is also survived by his two pets, Daisy and Roxie. A celebration of Carson’s life will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, July 20, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend James Baker officiating.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 until 3:15 PM prior to the service.
