Carolyn Hall Stewart

Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Carolyn Diane Hall Stewart, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Valdese Hospital. She was born in Mitchell County on November 4, 1948 to the late Willie Lee Hall and Pearl Buchanan Hall. Mrs. Stewart was married to Billy Stewart of the home. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Hicks and Naomi Hoilman; her brother, Charles Hall; and her grandson, Nathaniel McCloud. Other than her husband she is survived by her daughter, Teresa McCloud and son, Timmy Stewart; brothers, Bud Hall of Black Mountain, Bill Hall, Jr. of Old Fort, Ray Hall of Lenoir; sisters, Jean Whitson of Burnsville, Patricia Guy of Lenoir, and Kathy McKinney of Ridgecrest; grandchildren, Jeffrey McCloud, Michael McCloud, Rebecca Cortes, and Ashley Stewart; great-grandchildren, Isaiah McCloud, Erica Guerrero, Aiden McCloud, and Isaac McCloud. A celebration of life service will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2:30 PM with Pastor Ronnie Watson and Pastor Fred Proctor officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 prior to the service.
