Carol Winkler

Carole Hartley Winkler of Patterson, passed away November 19th, 2016 in Newton, NC. A private service and burial will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Yadkin Baptist Church, Patterson, NC. Carole was born in Lenoir to Guy and Mozelle Hartley on December 8, 1940. She went to high school at Happy Valley High School and graduated in 1959. She owned and operated a ladies apparel store and worked as secretary at Yadkin Baptist Church. She enjoyed interior design, flower gardening, crafts and spending time with her family and church friends. Carole is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby G. Winkler, her parents, Guy and Mozelle Hartley and a brother, Doug. Carole is survived by her daughter; Julie Hedrick, her sons; Joey and Jonathan Osborne, 8 grandchildren; Jack and Hart Henline, Stella and Jessi Hedrick, Ella, Maggie, Karsen and Sadie Osborne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Yadkin Baptist Church, 2044 Roby Martin Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.
