Carol Michaux Patterson

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Carol Michaux Patterson, age 64, of Lenoir, died Friday, March 26, at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, North Carolina. Mrs. Patterson was born in Caldwell County on April 23, 1945 to the late Filmore Dula and Louise Christine Michaux. Surviving is her former husband, Earl Monroe Patterson of Lenoir; daughters, Sharon Patterson of High Point, Dana Soloman of Grenada, Mississippi, and Quanda Smith of Boston, Massachusetts; a son, Earl Patterson, Jr. of Greensboro; brothers, David Michaux of Lenoir, Anthony Michaux of Boston, Massachusetts; sisters, Roxie Smith and Mary Michaux of Lenoir, and Marcella Denny of Richmond, Virginia. A celebration of Mrs. Patterson?s life will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Jessie Keaton and Terrance Michaux officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at the home of Evelyn Lipford, sister of Monroe Patterson, after the internment.
