Carl Robert Walsh "Buddy"

Carl Robert Walsh, age 85, of Granite Falls, North Carolina passed away on February 1, 2023. Carl was born on October 16, 1937 to the late Fred Walsh and Junie Dyson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Walsh; son, Randy Walsh; brother, Roy Walsh; sister, Peggy Soots, Ann Enloe; grandson, J.R. Walsh. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Ricky Walsh, Jeff Walsh, Robbie Walsh, and Dustin Greene (wife, Susan); daughters, Danyelle Walsh and Jadina Beaver (husband, Tony); brother, Benny Walsh; sisters, Barbara Peterson and Nancy Ferguson; twenty-five grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren Carl proudly served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed Nascar, Dale Earnhardt Sr., and loved spending time with his family. He was greatly known as “Copperhead” on the CB handle where he drove a truck for many years. A celebration of Buddy's life will held at Grandview Park Baptist Church in Gamewell on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Grandview Park Baptist Church in Gamewell.
