Bud Whisenant

Lenoir- William Buddy Whisenant, age 79, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Caldwell County on April 5, 1939 to the late Ray and Annie Lee Whisenant. He was married to Annette Benge Whisenant of the home. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Jason Hall; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Other than his wife, Bud is survived by step-daughter, Janet Price; grandchildren, Nathan DeBeve; and Jody Price; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy and Johnny Whisenant; sisters, Dot Hayworth and Collen Whisenant; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bud’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Tuesday, February, 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rodney Coffey officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
