Bryan Joseph Kincaid

Bryan Joseph Kincaid, 59, of Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Bryan was born October 12, 1964, to the late William Joseph Kincaid and Ruby Nichols Rogers.

In addition to his father, he preceded in death by his special niece, Nikki Smith Vance.

Those left to cherish Bryan’s memory are his wife of 37 years, Dana Sigmon Kincaid; sisters; Sherry Smith (Bill), Leta Hartley (Stoney); brother, Doug Kincaid (Audrey); many beloved nieces and nephews.  Also, cherishing his memory are his lovely dogs, Ginger and Chase.

Bryan graduated from NC State University with degrees in Mathematics and Physics.  He was a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.  Bryan retired from Safety National Casualty Corp. after a 33-year actuarial career.

Bryan had many diverse interests.  He titled his many dogs in AKC Conformation, Agility, and Obedience.  Bryan handled his dog, Daisy, into the breed’s history books.  Daisy was the first Kerry blue terrier to earn championship titles in Conformation and Agility.  Bryan was a past Treasurer of the United States Kerry Blue Terrier Club.

Bryan was an outstanding individual committed to his wife, family and dogs.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

There will be a service to celebrate Bryan’s life on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Littlejohn United Methodist Church with Reverend Richard Irwin.  The family will receive friends Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Littlejohn United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow at Littlejohn United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Stoney Hartley, Richard Hartley, Patrick Hartley, Joel Vance, Josh Benfield, and Jayden Norman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bryan’s name to Littlejohn United Methodist Church 4120 Littlejohn Church Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
