Bruce Smith

Collettsville, NC- Mr. Bruce Smith, age 79, of Collettsville, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. Born February 3, 1935 in Toccoa, GA, he was a son of the late Riley and Ethel Gosnell Smith. He was retired from the City of Toccoa working with the street department and enjoyed tinkering with old cars. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Vinson Smith, a daughter, Patricia Lee Smith Webb Regan and his brother, John Terrell Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Smith and husband Michael of Collettsville; 4 Grandchildren, Jennifer Gosnell Gray, Adam Gosnell, Brandy Gosnell, Amanda Webb Brishop; 10 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
