Bruce Craig

Bruce A. Craig, age 88, of Lenoir, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Amorem-Robbins.He was born June 12, 1933 in Caldwell County to the late Azor Craig and Edna Bolick Craig.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Craig; son, Robert Hamby; brothers, Ray Craig, Denny Craig, Albert Craig, Gene Craig, and Howard Craig. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Robin Carswell and husband Eddie; granddaughter, Kaylin Safriet and husband Jason; grandson, Cody Hamby and wife Kristin; grandchildren, Anson Hamby, Adley Hamby, Abe Hamby, Camille Safriet, Ellie Safriet; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bruce was a jokester with a wonderful sense of humor.He loved his family and adored his pets, Trixie and Smokey.He enjoyed attending auctions and working on the farm. A graveside service celebrating Bruce’s life will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Reverend Rick Safriet. Serving as pallbearers will be:Ronnie Craig, Ryan Craig, Jerry Craig, Neal Craig, Clint Barlow and Jason Safriet.
