Brittanee Wallace

Brittanee Elmore Wallace, age 26, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Brittanee was born on December 11, 1989 to Melissa Lee Elmore. In addition to her mother, she was blessed with Great Grandparents, the late Herman Penland Jr. and Mary Lee Penland who helped raise her. She graduated from East Burke High School in 2008 and briefly worked in retail. She was a loving wife and mother. Brittanee had a heart of gold and especially loved her pets, Isis, Loki, Zues, Haven and Mushu. In addition to her mother and Great Grandparents, she was preceded in death by an Uncle, Stevie Elmore and her Grandfather, Ray Elmore. Left to cherish her memory is her Son, Austin Allen of the Home; Husband, Devon Wallace of the Home; her Brother, Steven Lail of Hickory; Grandmother, Judy Elmore of Connelly Springs; an Aunt and Uncle, Tammy and Raymond Henry of Rutherford College; a Great Uncle, Jimmy Penland, who was like a big brother to her; she is also survived by numerous other family members she loved dearly. The family will be having a private memorial service at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses.
