Bridget M. Walker

Lenoir, NC – Mrs. Bridget M. Walker, age 84, of Lenoir, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 at her home. Born December 10, 1928 in Ireland, Bridget was a daughter of the late Richard and Hannah Murphy. She was a homemaker and had worked as a RN for a number of years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Walker; a daughter, Brenda Marie Balderas. Survivors include his a daughter, Eileen “Elee” Cabrera; three grandsons, Brian Christopher Walker, William “Billy” Michael Pelt and Wiliams Balderas; one granddaughter, Amanda Balderas; four great grandchildren, Austin Walker , Madison Balderas, Paisley Pelt and MaKayla Pelt; and her loving pet, Shotzy. A celebration of Bridget’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Stephen Pickett officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
