Mr. Brice Eugene Eller, age 75, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehab in Granite Falls. Born July 26, 1943 in Wilkes County, Brice was a son of the late Vance William and Rosa Lee Eller.Brice was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis.He was a mechanic by trade and enjoyed restoring old diesel trucks.He also taught Diesel Mechanics at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, James Kirk Eller. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sheila Winn Eller; three sons, Kevin Eugene Eller (wife Kathy), Scott Alan Eller (wife Tericia), and Jeffrey Edward Eller (wife Heather); a daughter, Gina Eller Willis (fiancé Ronnie Shaffer); a sister, Shelba Watson; three brothers, Joe Eller, Emery Eller and Dennis Eller; he is also survived by 11 grandchildren, three great- grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A celebration of Brice’s life will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Cedar Valley United Methodist Church at 3:00 PM with Reverend Robert Hinman officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care or to Cedar Valley United Methodist Church.
