Brenda Phillips

Mrs. Brenda Elizabeth Phillips, age 76, of Hudson passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. Born August 30, 1944 in Caldwell County, Brenda was a daughter of the late, Albert Lee and Ollie Mae Nelson.Brenda was Baptist by faith.Brenda loved playing games, especially sweepstakes and bingo.She will be remembered as a caregiver who loved her family.In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Nelson, Kenneth Watts and Eugene Watts. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Don Phillips; a son, Tommy Phillips; a granddaughter, Ashley Whitener (husband Ellis); a great grandchild, Granville Whitener; a sister, Gail Honeycutt; two brothers, Bobby Nelson and Tommy Nelson (wife Diane); a special niece, Debbie Crouch (husband Larry).
