Brenda Faye Ewart

Brenda Ewart, 75, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

Brenda was born on January 8, 1949, to the late Bud Lemmons and Mildred Bowen.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Junior Reynolds, and great grandson, Jameson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Fred Ewart; her sons, Darrell Rogers (husband, Jason), Billy Rogers (wife, Michelle), daughter, Tammy Rogers; grandchildren, Stephen Rogers, Jessica Chester (Korey), John Chester (Matt), great grandson, Ayden Durham; sister, Bonnie James (Ray), brother, Donnie Lemmons, and numerous other nieces and nephews.  Also left to cherish her memory are her furry companions, Buddy and Lacy.

Brenda was an amazing wife and mother.  She loved her family and above all, she loved the Lord.  Brenda was an active member of College Avenue Baptist Church.  She loved her flowers, games, tap coloring, getting her nails done, she loved to laugh and make others laugh.

A service will be held to celebrate Brenda’s life on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM at College Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Earl Davis officiating.  A visitation for family and friends will be held an hour prior to the service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
