Brenda Coffey

Mrs. Brenda Logan Coffey, age 73, of Granite Falls passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born December 6, 1944 in Alexander County, Brenda was a daughter of the late Atwell and Edna Jane Dyson Logan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Coffey; two brothers, Rayford Logan and Michael Wayne Logan. Survivors include her children, Michael Coffey (wife Cheryl), James Coffey, Jr. (wife Kim), Troy Coffey (wife Sue) and Becky Coffey Hunter; her brothers, Atwell Logan, Jr., Clyde Dyson Logan, Paul Marshall Logan, Roger Wayne Logan and Bobbi Jean Garrison; eight grandchildren, Amanda Shutt, Anthony Coffey, Josh Coffey, Paul Coffey, Sam Coffey, Ashley Coffey, Chris Coffey and Tyler Coffey; great- grandchildren, Marshall Coffey, Mike Coffey, Xander Shutt, and Ian Shutt ; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Rodney Raby officiating.
