Brandy Michelle Evans

Hickory- Brandy Michelle Evans, age 25, of Hickory, passed away Thursday evening, July 16, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.Brandy was born March 12, 1990 in Iredell County. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jimmy Darrell Reece. Brandy loved working with animals and had dreams of going to Veterinary School.Brandy was looking forward to the next few months when she would become a new mother. She is survived by her mother, Deanna Delores Reece of Taylorsville; her father, Dewan Eugene Evans and wife Brittany of Granite Falls; maternal grandmother, Juanita Gail Dyson of Taylorsville; paternal grandparents, Walter and Loretta Evans of Granite Falls; four brothers, Heath Thomas Evans, and Nickalos Ray Evans, both of Taylorsville; Hunter Westin Evans and Jared Gage Evans, both of Granite Falls and several aunts, uncles and other relatives. A celebration of Brandy’s life will be held 4:00 PM Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Burial will follow in the Freedom Independent Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friend’s Monday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to help offset final expenses.
