Brandon Gene Billings

Brandon Gene Billings, age 42, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Amorem. He was born in Caldwell County on February 21, 1981 to Gina Billings Kidd and the late Kenneth Kidd.

Brandon dearly loved his family and enjoyed all forms of art. He was a member of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Margaret McCrary; his maternal grandfather, Gene Billings and his best friends, Tony Price and Jessie Greer.

Other than his mother, Brandon is survived by fiancée, Sue Chambers and  daughter, Taylor Chambers of the home; fur babies, Ally and Booger; sister, Stefanie Gatten and husband, Douglas of Lenoir; sister, Chelsie Davis of Lenoir; step-sisters, Angie Laws and husband, Brad of Lenoir; Marty Ollis of Valdese; grandmother, Mary Billings of Jacksonville, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held at Evans Funeral Service on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tom Hamby officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Gatten, Keyon Dula, Brian Kidd, Corey Hamby and Phillip Hamby. Jaxson Davis will serve as honorary pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Amorem, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
