Bobby Severt

Bobby Severt, 79, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Bobby was born on October 22, 1945, to the late Wiley and Mamie Severt.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Ina Severt; sisters, Diane, Gaynell, Naydine; brothers, Benny, and Bruce.

Those left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his son; Bobby Severt, Jr. (Tanya); grandchildren, Amber, Taylor, and Branson; daughter, Emily Quintana (Brandon); grandchildren, JacobWayne, Taylor, and Levi; brother, Barton Severt; and many step children, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bobby (aka butcher boy) was a truck driver for 40 plus years, prior to truck driving he was a butcher.  He loved going to the beach, seeing ocean, and above all he loved his Lord and Saviour.  Bobby loved his wife Ina immensely and his family.

A service to honor Bobby’s life will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Gray Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans.  Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are Bart Severt, Bobby Severt Jr., Seth Gragg, JacobWayne Quintana, Brandon Quintana, Adam Severt, Jeff Whittington, Chris Hodges, and Seth Watson.

Serving as honorary pallbearer is Jack Wilson.
