Bobby Gene Lowe

Lenoir, NC- Bobby Gene Lowe, age 61, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born in Catawba County on August 6, 1951 to the late Robert L. Lowe and Timmie Taylor Lowe. He was married to Georgia Main Lowe of the home. Mr. Lowe was a member of East Flat Baptist Church and was a truck driver for Ideal Transportation. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kathleen Marie Lowe; sisters, Jeanette Small and Betty Greene; brothers, Gary Lowe and John Melton, Jr.; infant grandchildren, Chase Killian, Garrett Killian, and Ashley Killian. Other than his wife, he is survived by his children, Robin Smith and husband, Samuel; Michael Clark and wife, Beth; Chris Clark and wife, Traci; and Tracy Killian; sisters, Lorene Petitt, husband Carl, and Ruby Lowe; brothers, Steve Lowe, Wayne Melton, and Bobby Melton; 14 grandchildren; and his only great-grandchild, Greyson Lane Bingham; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bob̢۪s life will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at East Flat Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Gragg and Pastor Claude Suddreth officiating. Interment will take place immediately following the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 prior to the service at the church.
