Bobby Lee Eller

Lenoir – Bobby Lee Eller, age 62, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 in Wilkes County while hunting with his son, Robert, while Robert was holding him. He was born in Burke County on November 1, 1951 to the late Arvil Eller and Lola Watson Eller. He was married for 43 years to Virginia Hendren Eller of the residence. Bobby had spent the last 40 years working in upholstery and the last 3 years were spent with his current employer, Century Furniture. He loved to hunt and spend time on his chopper motorcycle that he called his baby. At one time he owned and operated his own automotive paint shop. Bobby loved gardening and his dogs. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, J.R. Eller and Herman Eller. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Veronica Dawn Smith and Robert Lee Eller; brothers, James Eller; sisters, Dena Tolbert and Merle Sterne; grandchildren, Cory Brown, Troy Smith, Leah Smith and Dylan Eller. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Danny Wright officiating.
