Bobby Charles Austin

Hudson, NC – Mr. Bobby Charles Austin, age 71, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Austin was born in Catawba County on April 16, 1941 to the late Woodrow Charles Austin and Pearl Lucille McCall. He was married to Linda Miller Austin of the residence. Mr. Austin was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Christy Dawn Austin of Hudson. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Duane Kuykendall and Pastor John Greene officiating. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
