Bobbie Irene Hayes

May 20, 1936 — July 3, 2022

Bobbie Irene Hayes, 86, passed away at Amorem Hospice in Hudson on July 3, 2022. Bobbie was born on May 20, 1936, to the late Faniel and Nancy Bowers.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, Joe G. Hayes, and faithful furry companion, Jobe.

Those left to cherish the memory of Bobbie include her daughters, Merita Beach (Carson), and Brenda Whisenant (Dale); her grandchildren, Patti Siciak (Art), Jody Beach (Candyy), Tyra Setzer (Joey), Jeana Harrison, Shana Shimek, Amanda Whisenant, Noah Whisenant (Tiffany), and numerous great-grandchildren.

Bobbie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved our PawPaw Hayes and they were made for each other.  There are not enough words to express how great of a woman Bobbie was.  She was a bible believing, gospel music singing, biscuit making, flower loving, Hardees eating, snuff dipping little woman.  Her biscuit making skills were out of this world, much different from her driving skills.  She was quiet the firecracker of a little lady that made everyone laugh and kept everyone on their toes.  She loved to collect salt & pepper shakers, and she had more than can be counted with a variety that would definitely keep you entertained.  We are blessed to know that we will see Bobbie again because of her faith and trust in the Lord.  Her hope was always that her friends and family get saved and love the Lord so we all can be together again.  Her laugh and smile will be immensely missed by everyone.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2022; officiating Pastor Scott Philyaw and Pastor Horace Minton.

The family will receive guests at Evans Funeral Service an hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  Inurnment will follow at Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
