Billy Lee Robbins

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Billy Lee Robbins, age 66 of Lenoir, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 in Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born October 2, 1941 in Watauga County, Mr. Robbins was a son of the late William Ross and Maude Edith Jordan Robbins and the husband of Vera ?Sis? Dollars Robbins of the home. Mr. Robbins attended Welcome Home Baptist Church. He had worked for Singer Furniture for 21 years and Broyhill Furniture for 10 years. Surviving other than his wife is his daughter, Connie Sue Robbins of Morganton; his son, Randy Dale Robbins and wife Tammy of Granite Falls; four sisters, Barbara Ann Miller of Rhodhiss; Betty Jane Day and husband Jim of Martinez, GA; Becky June Hodges and husband Jimmy of Dallas, NC; Margaret Harmon of Lenoir and 4 brothers, William Ross ?Dub? Robbins, Jr. and wife Ada of Lenoir; Tommy Dean Robbins and wife Janice of Deep Gap; Roy Robbins and wife Linda of Charlotte and Larry Robbins of Lenoir. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Benny Joe Robbins and Roger Dale Robbins. A celebration of Mr. Robbins? life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 29, 2008 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Aldene Wheeler officiating. Burial will be held 3:00 PM Friday in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11, one hour prior to the service on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Evans Funeral Service.
