Billy Conn Cable

Lenoir- Billy Conn Cable, age 77, passed away on October 12, 2021 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. He was born in Graham County on May 10, 1944 to the late Paul Cable and Beryal Holder Cable. Bill loved his family and particularly enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a huge trout fisherman and spent a lot of time outdoors in his garden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Carol Cable; son, Robbie Parsons; daughter, Chaney Story; and sisters, Betty and Delilah. Bill is survived by his step-daughter, Crystal Phillips; daughter-in-law, Karen Parsons; grandchildren, Justin Reese; Brandon Parsons; Marcus Barnes; Casey Parsons; Sonya Barnes; and Jordan Redmon; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members. A graveside service for Bill will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
