Billy Ray Adkins

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Billy Ray Adkins, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. He was born in Caldwell County on July 26, 1942 to the late Lank and May Lambert Adkins. He was married to Jean Bryant Adkins of the residence. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Kay Mills. Other than his wife he is survived by his children, Alex Nelson; Kim Offenbacker; Brad Adkins; sisters, Dean Eller and Karen Adkins Crunkleton; brother, Gary Lambert; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Adkins was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. A memorial service will be held at North Cross Church on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
