Billy Mack Absher

Billy “Bill” Mack Absher, 72, of Hudson, NC passed away on July 22, 2023.

Bill was born on February 10, 1951 to the late Ruth Myers Billings and Mack Absher.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister; Pansy “Bobbie” Absher, and his brother Bobby “Dude” Absher.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Nancy Absher, daughters; Sandi Cannon (husband Rodney), Heather Miller, grandchildren; Joshua Cannon, Katelyn Cannon, Hailee Miller, and sister; Nancy Benfield (husband Gregory).

Bill served in The National Guard for four years. He was an avid deer hunter and loved to fish. He also enjoyed collecting clocks. He cherished his family and his two dogs, “Rusty” and “Jaxx”.

A celebration of life to honor Bill will be held on Friday, July 28 at 2:00 pm at Evans Funeral Service conducted by Reverend David Blythe. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

Following the service, burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
